Elminate imperfections and bring back shine to your vehicle with our paintwork correction
The aim of paint correction is to eliminate swirls and imperfections so your car can shine. Depending on your preference, we can remove up to 80% of the imperfections from your paint. This involves an intensive cutting and polishing process, known as a 2-step paint correction, to achieve maximum gloss and clarity.
Some scratches or imperfections may not be removable due to their depth, type, or the risk of damaging a specific panel with low clear coat. We will make a careful assessment of what can be safely removed during the paint correction process. It's not just about eliminating as many imperfections as possible, but also knowing when to stop to maintain the paint's integrity.
We can spend anywhere from 5 to 20 hours polishing your paint, based on your desired outcome from the paint correction service.
Even new vehicles, just a few months off the lot, may need a 2-step paint correction service. Although you may have had the car for a short time, it has been transported and handled by many people over several months, leading to the accumulation of swirls and imperfections.
Paint correction is a commitment to your vehicle. To keep your paint in excellent condition, you must properly maintain it after the service. Improper washing and drying can quickly reintroduce swirls and scratches.
Depending on your vehicle, the condition of the paint, and the results you want, it can vary on hours to complete.
What is Paint Correction? Aka Buffing and Polishing
Wheel and Tire Cleaning: We start by thoroughly cleaning the wheel faces, wheel barrels, tires, and inner fender liners.
Foam and Hand Wash: Your vehicle receives a thick layer of foam and a gentle hand wash, including cleaning the door jambs, and gas cap.
Chemical Decontamination: To ensure a clean surface, we remove iron particles from your paint using a chemical decontamination process.
Clay Bar Treatment: We use a clay bar to eliminate any remaining embedded dirt and debris, leaving your paint feeling exceptionally smooth.
Compound Phase (Correction): Using a machine polisher, cutting disc, and compound, we safely remove the majority of swirls and scratches from your paint.
Polishing Phase: We enhance shine and clarity by polishing the micro-scratches left from the compound phase.
Paint Wipe Down: We wipe down the paint to remove any leftover polish residue, allowing us to inspect the true condition of the paint.

How long do the results last? After the paint is corrected, maintenance is crucial. It's like training a pet—you can't teach them once and expect them to remember forever. You need to consistently and properly wash and dry your vehicle to maintain the swirl-free finish. If not, you'll end up back where you started.
What tools and products do you use? We use a variety of machines, pads, polishes, compounds, cleaners, towels, and lights tailored to each car's specific needs. Every vehicle requires different methods and tools.
What’s the difference between wax and paint correction? Wax does not remove swirls or scratches; it only hides very light swirls and can be applied in a few hours. Paint correction, on the other hand, actually removes swirls and scratches, making the paint shine brilliantly. This process is time-consuming and usually takes one or two full days, depending on the size, condition, and desired results.
