In the past, paste wax was the top choice for enhancing your vehicle's shine and protecting the paint from elements like rain, bird droppings, and dirt.
Fast forward 20 years, and thanks to scientific advancements, we now have a far more durable and superior form of protection: ceramic coatings.
Unlike the “wax-on-wax-off” method, ceramic coating is a semi-permanent liquid layer that bonds to the vehicle's surface. Often called a “sacrificial” layer of protection, it absorbs weather elements like rain, dirt, and snow to better protect the paint underneath.
To put it in perspective: wax is like a tent protecting you in a forest, while ceramic coating is like a brick house. Both offer protection from rain and dust, but one is far superior.

Many coating companies make bold claims about their products, and while there is truth to some of these claims, I prefer not to exaggerate their capabilities. Here are the actual benefits you can expect from a coating:

Before applying the coating, your vehicle must undergo proper prep and correction with one of our paint correction services. Without this prep work, you won’t fully benefit from the coating.
This is where a professional ceramic coating installer makes a difference. Improper installation can lead to smudges across your vehicle, known as “high spots,” caused by leaving the coating to dry for too long without wiping off.

Common Myths About Ceramic Coatings
Certainly, coatings offer long-lasting and durable protection, but they aren't a license to be careless with your vehicle assuming the coating will handle everything.
Understanding the limitations of ceramic coatings is crucial. Many customers expect too much from the coating and end up disappointed when they notice swirls or etchings in the paint.
The coating doesn't make your paint scratch-proof. It can resist light swirls and scratches from proper washing or drying, but dragging a dry, dirty wash mitt or any abrasive object across the paint will cause scratches.
Additionally, the coating doesn't shield your paint from rock chips; for that, paint protection film (PPF) is the best option.
No matter how many layers of protection you apply, be it wax or ceramic coating, they can't prevent the impact of rocks hitting your vehicle.
Regular maintenance is essential to extend the coating's durability. Like many things in life, neglecting the coating will lead to its degradation before its intended lifespan. Proper washing, drying, and boosting the coating are necessary for maximum durability. Even a coating meant to last 3 years can deteriorate by 1 year if not cared for properly.

Is ceramic coating the best protection for my paint? While ceramic coatings offer excellent protection and shine, the ultimate defense would be paint protection film (PPF). PPF adds an 8mil layer of protection that withstands debris far better than any ceramic coating.
Can I wash my car after ceramic coating? After application, the vehicle should remain dry for the first 48 hours for full curing. We recommend avoiding washing for the first two weeks.
Can ceramic coating replace clear coat? If your paint is deteriorating due to clear coat failure, only repainting can rectify that. Ceramic coating doesn't address this issue.
Can I skip prep work and paint correction for coating? We don’t apply coatings without proper prep and correction, as the benefits won't be realized without it.
